Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, performs difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks.

Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Documents nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.

Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques, and concrete coring.

Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.

Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures

Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University to the approval of the Engineer. Minimum 8 years demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects of which not less than 3 years shall be in works related to sewage networks projects.

Experience should also include piping installations utilizing nondestructive methods, i.e. microtunnelling, horizontal drilling and pipeline refurbishment.

Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University and membership of a recognized Professional Engineering Institution or equivalent as approved by the Engineer.

Minimum 10 years demonstrable experience encompassing the mechanical aspects of sewage treatment works Operation and Maintenance works of a similar nature.

Minimum 7 years demonstrable experience encompassing the biological processes aspect of sewage treatment works operation and maintenance works using Nano and Micro Engineered Membrane Technology / MB / Ultra Filtration system or of a similar nature.

Must demonstrate the extent of his knowledge and experience in respect of international contract laws especially in operation and maintenance contracts.

Job Description Function contents:
The assistant manager planning & logistics is responsible for all planning and transportation related activities of the company. You ensure the company’s supply chain from planning (but excluding buying), execution to transportation is running smooth, and in compliance with our customers’ requirements.

In this job you will start with visualising the network design and plot the installed capacity. On a periodic base you will review the resource planning for the network in order to judge the available capacity.
In the job you will have to keep a close communication with the internal customer (the CRM team) and with the internal supplier (the factory). Based on a rolling forecast you will intimate the management on the expected needed/ utilised capacity and constraints in that. Based on that information the S&OP process is shaped and action will be taken.
After crafting the Master production schedule you run the MRP on a weekly basis to ensure all needed materials are available at the right time and quantity. This results in an Availability to Promise (ATP).
In close relation with the short term planner you will have a look on the realisation and take conclusions for stock levels in order to meet customers’ requirements in time on full. From the finished goods you plan the transportation from a top level and ensure sufficient and right modes of transport to the different locations is available at the best possible price.
