Job Description Key Responsibilities:
* To manage execution of project with prevailing industry standards/ quality systems in most efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
* Manage design development / procurement / planning department for respective works such as submission of engineering submittals , procurement of major items , MEP construction program etc.
* Liase with Main Contractor for site works coordination.
* Manage Subcontractors for smooth progress of works.
* Attend project progress meeting and take corrective action accordingly.
* Meet Consultant for technical approval and related issues etc.
* Co-ordinate with internal QS/Main Contractor’s QS for invoicing, payment collection, EI pricing, AVIs etc.
* Manage Project supervision, scheduling, target monitoring with reviewing or progress reports / taking appropriate action to achieve the end result .
* Manage preparation /submission of engineering submittals wrt MEP services including submission of coordinated services shop drawings and tracking schedules etc .
* Manage Execution, Testing, and Commissioning with preparation of related documents, As-built drawings, O & M manuals.
* Manage Safety related aspects for industrial as well as commercial projects.
* Manage & ensure QA/QC related issues being implemented on the projects. Over viewing the preparation of QA/QC documents such as QCIP, BPS/PQR various method statement for installation.
* Manage Consultant and Clients inspection at site for preliminary as well as final handing over of the system.
Profile Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with 15-20 years of techno-commercial experience in handling MEP works of large multi-disciplined commercial or industrial projects like Airports, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, etc. with ability to lead a team of Site Managers and Engineers.
Candidate should have prior exposure in coordination of MEP site works with Main contractor and other agencies involved. Knowledge of installation of various MEP system, construction sequence and ability to plan the site activities with required resource planning to meet the execution program is required.
Ability to resolve site issues effectively with client, consultant, and other agencies is essential. Should be able to prepare & monitor progress reports based on site progress and provide periodic site reports as required for the project.
Should be responsible for the implementation of HSE and QA/QC requirements at site.
