Maintenance Supervisor - Mattex - Jeddah - Saudi Arabia

The Maintenance Engineer initiates, plans, schedules and oversees the completion of assigned departmental maintenance work in a given area or function.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and assesses manpower, equipment and materials requirements necessary to successfully and promptly execute maintenance work
• Sets performance standards for maintenance work and evaluates actual performance against set standards to determine productivity and effectiveness.
• Develops strategies to improve the overall reliability and safety of production facilities, personnel and production processes
• Consults and advises operating personnel to determine necessary maintenance requirements and establish work priorities
• Maintains necessary documentation on contractor performance, material damage or loss claims, accident reports and contract payments
• Analyzes requests for maintenance work in assigned area and resolves any controversial items which may be considered unnecessary or uneconomical with the proponent
• Outsources requests for maintenance work which can be cost effectively assigned to contractor organizations
• Reviews and verifies adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during the work process
• Anticipates and initiates requests for additional funds for indicated overruns of capital or special expense budget items
• Provides engineering direction and control to project personnel
• Oversees and verifies the completion of maintenance and construction initiatives
• Ability to apply an engineering analysis and appraisal to maintenance techniques
• Experienced in maintenance methods and practices
• Computer literate and familiar with state of the art digital design techniques, Microsoft Windows (Visio; Projects; Excel, Word; Outlook), AutoCAD
• Leadership (lead minimum 20 technicians) and best communication
•Good in Mathematic and Analyzing
• Working under pressure and stress
• Must have minimum Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 7 years maintenance engineering related experience in Plastic or Extrusion or Textile Factories.
