Job Description • To provide support to site manager to achieve project objectives and ensure that all necessary inputs (resources) are available on one hand to implement company’s systems for effective planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling.
• Prepare Matrix to show split of work into zones / areas and disciplines to define responsibilities.
• Reviewing WBS and OBS to prepare their mapping.
• Prepare schedules to purchase Bulk materials, Consumables, machines and Plants as per requirement(s).
• Controlling and reporting of Project and Level III plan, anticipate bottlenecks and highlight these to Site Manager.
• Ensure that Field Engineers effectively performing their functions of estimating BOM (Bill of Material) and BOQ (Bill of Quantity).
• Preparation of fabrication, installation drawings and providing clarification wherever required.
• Understand the projects chart of accounts and its mapping on to the company’s cost center and closely coordinate with Financial Controller in developing cost reports comparing cost vs. revenue on a cost center basis.
• To guide and train subordinates and team members on company system.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with over 7 years of experience in site planning of the project in Cement/ Oil & Gas/ Power, preferably in any of the GCC countries. • Cement plant experience would be an advantage. • Must have adequate communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience 7 - 15 years
Education Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical )
