HCL International is looking for a Consultant Adult ICU (Intensivist) to work in an Adult Intensive Care Medicine in a hospital based in Abu Dhabi region.

Requirements: Candidates must have Western education/qualifications and NLT 3 years post graduate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the clinical care and treatment of all critically ill patients who are admitted to the ICU/CCU.
- Provides a consultation to patient care physicians in other disciplines while in the ICU/CCU and available for consultations concerning patients in other areas of the hospital
- Coordinates management of patients in the ICU/CCU and working with physicians of other specialties
- Contributes to special services, such as parenteral nutrition support service for patients in the ICU/CCU Assists in the resuscitation of critically ill patients in the hospital
- Shares in the on-call schedule in the Department of Critical Care Medicine as required
- Attends all departmental and medical staff meetings Conducts research appropriate to his/her field
- Promotes and participates in ongoing education and training of all medical staff in his/her section, including participation in hospital symposia and specialist meetings
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities
- Observes the By-Laws and adheres to the policies and procedures of the institution.
