The finance team looks at both the corporate business and a portfolio of private assets valued over $6billion. This role focuses mainly on the financial management of these private assets and requires a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with asset managers.
You will need to be a 'hands-on' accountant wanting to work within a small finance team and assume full responsibility for areas under your financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and enhance project and operational management reporting for a portfolio of assets
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis to supplement regular management reporting
- Manage key relationships such as those with asset managers, project managers, bankers and suppliers
- Contribute to the enhancement of the control environment and streamlining of processes
- Multi-currency cash management and forecasting
- Perform month end reconciliations and other general ledger maintenance
- Perform due diligence on project and operational disbursements
- Prepare statutory and non-statutory financial statements
- Liaise with external auditors at annual audits
