The role will suit a driven junior accounting professional with an ambition to excel at every task under his/her responsibility and who enjoys being an integral part of a small team.
Ideally, this position will appeal to somebody who is already based in Dubai, or is intending to relocate to the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounts payable functions such as invoice and payment processing and purchase ledger maintenance
- Petty cash, bank account and other weekly / monthly reconciliations
- Office administration tasks such as document preparation, formatting and filing
- Ad hoc reporting and support to the Management Accountants
Key Attributes
- Numeracy with excellent attention to detail, pro-active self-starter and a creative problem solver
- Efficient and appropriate prioritisation of tasks
Communication skills at all levels of the organisation with the appropriate amount of detail.
Integrity, a desire to learn, enthusiasm, humility and diligence.
Professional and flexible in attitude and approach.
Language Requirement
Native (or equivalent) English speaker (no other language is required)
Experience Requirement
Part qualified
Minimum 2 years commercial experience in a finance team.
Proficiency in Microsoft packages (particularly Word and Excel) and ideally Sun systems
