Responsible to provide support to the Project Manager in all activities of the project. Lead and manage engagements from all departments and stakeholders internally and externally in order to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards.Should deputize the Project Manager when not available and should be able to effectively manage certain parts of the project as instructed by the Project Manager.
Detailed Description
• Proactively coordinate all aspects of the project, determine new ways of project development and to keep the Project Manager well informed of any updates
• Actively manage the activation of ongoing contracts with contractors and consultants to ensure all services are provided as agreed within contracts
• Take ownership of project schedule and documentation (Hard and Soft). Prepare and maintain professional monthly progress reports
• Maintain project budget and expenditures. Prepare monthly financial report
• Coordinate meetings and workshops. Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables
• Maintain Project Managers calendar
• Identifying, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Contributing to meeting and workshop design
• Proactively engage with all internal departments to ensure all project requirements are delivered and fulfilled
• Work with Admin assistant to coordinate all travel arrangements and administrative paperwork
Skills
• B.A in Related field with 5 years work related experience
• Experience of managing projects
• Professional experience in managing transactional activities that form the core of the Project
• Experience of managing services to meet the requirements of stakeholders and managing interfaces with those stakeholders
• Technical understanding of managing major business systems in a large complex environment
• Proficient with software packages that support job role
• Presentation skills to present reports/proposals/strategies
• Excellent communication skills: written and oral
