Description: The position of Sales Manager – Middle East, is based in Dubai, employed through the UK office. This position is responsible for managing the sales of the company’s products and services to clients, as well as, activities related to account management for the existing customers in the referenced region. The position will maintain accurate forecasts by region and manage the sales process to achieve quarterly revenue objectives. The Sales Manager reports to the Vice President of Global Sales. The position carries full quota responsibility for the region and must balance sales opportunities across the area to consistently deliver revenue targets for license and bookings targets for services by quarter.
Experience and Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years work experience within the technology, software and/or pipeline sales arena, with a proven sales track record of accurately forecasting and consistently delivering revenue
2. Solid experience building and maintaining customer relationships
3. Good communication skills (verbal and written); ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations
4. Ability and desire to travel extensively – approximately 75% of time with travel to Middle East.
5. Experience with managing an organization and guiding them to attainment of goals
6. Experience selling software technology into the Middle Eastern and North African oil and gas market
7. Degree in an engineering discipline, business, computer science or mathematics.
Detailed Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Collect and consolidate the forecast for the region. Review and update the forecast insuring accuracy of revenue amounts and timing for all deals in the region and communicate this on a weekly basis to the VP of Global Sales.
2. Make sales visits to clients and prospects.
3. Understand and be able to communicate the benefits of software technology to Director, VP and C levels within the pipeline industry. Have a working knowledge of competitive products and the unique value of our solutions. Prepare and deliver presentations for clients as necessary.
4. Understand revenue recognition issues in order to position deal structures to maximize revenue for the company.
5. Review contracts for licenses and services as necessary.
Stay up to date with sales/marketing databases in order to take advantage of new market opportunities. Work with marketing to define events which would increase market awareness
Salary : AED 20,000 + company benefits + commission
