Job Description: Imprev is currently seeking a full-time Senior Java Software Engineer to help extend our success to new products and new markets. This position resides in our downtown Bellevue, WA location.
Responsibilities include implementing software to support various Imprev products in a team based shared code environment. This position will provide team leadership, mentoring, and vision for Imprev software development practices as well as providing an architectural vision for the product platform. The individual in this role will ensure that all team members continually drive to improve the quality and efficiency of the Imprev Product Development team.
Qualifications
? BS in technical discipline, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
? 5-10 years experience.
? 2-3 years experience as a mentor or team leader.
? The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of the following skills:
o Mastery of the Java programming language
o Mastery of object oriented design and modeling
o Mastery of web application frameworks (Spring Frameworks preferred)
o Experience in writing SQL for RDBMS databases (MySQL preferred)
o Experience with source code control systems (SVN preferred)
o Experience in at least one modern scripting language (Python preferred)
o Highly productive in at least one modern IDE such as Eclipse or Idea
o Comprehensive knowledge of PHP
o Ability to provide leadership in a Lean/Agile and team oriented environment
o Ability to provide technical solutions to business problems in a mixed architecture platform
o Ability to perform and write software in a shared code team environment.
o Proficiency with basic Linux administration
