Proposal Manager Facilities Management - Kharafi National KSS - Kuwait

To assume overall responsibility for managing, co-coordinating and administering of the Company proposal effort on all selected proposals, from the BID/NO BID approval cycle through to submittal of the BID to the Client, incorporating Operation and Maintenance requirements, risk assessment, estimating and interpretation and clarification with others on contractual terms and conditions and required deliverables in compliance with the RFP.

1. To organize staff and lead KN team to ensure proposal targets are achieved and met in conformance with the RFP requirements.
2. To coordinate with Contracts / Insurance, in reviewing the prime contract documents and data, develop risk profiles and establishes plans, schedule and budgets for proposal obligations and review the technical input.
3. To take the lead in co-coordinating with Operations to achieve a compliant Proposal
4. To orient & guide the proposal team towards preparation of technical and commercial proposals and creating budgets for awarded jobs.
5. To review and analyze Proposal Summary and lead the presentation of the Proposal to KN senior management for their review and approval.
6. To ensure that all Client’s contacts, including correspondence and working relationships between KN and the Client, is maintained throughout the duration of the proposal.
7. Monitors and controls all contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the RFP, specifications, drawings and “terms and conditions” of the RFP.
8. To conduct periodic review with Operations and discuss issues to obtain feedback for corrective actions.
9. To assist in the training of subordinates both formal training courses and on-the-job training.
10. To promote the management concept of Continuous Improvement (CI) among all members of the proposal team.
11. To promote and practices team building across the department.

Essential:
• A Bachelors Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Arab National

Visual Merchandiser - Damas International Limited - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Principle Accountabilities:

In Shop:
1. Assist the VM Manager & Team Leader in conceptualizing and finalizing the designs and plans.
2. Implementing the designs and plans created by the visual merchandising manager and the Marketing team which may involve work such as lifting, carrying and climbing ladders.
3. Assisting team leader in sourcing materials/props.
4. Following the company display guidelines
5. Ensuring all store's are following the company display guidelines
6. Store visits on a daily basis
7. Installing and dismantling displays
8. Coordinate with the shops and all concerned managers for all the visual merchandising requirements
9. Take part in market visits to ensure we are keeping up with competitors
10. Setting up a 'model' or ‘mock’ displays in-store according to the company's latest design directives, and then photographing the displays in order to create a visual merchandising pack to send out to other stores (to ensure consistency with the company brand and image)
11. Set up events for all brands

In Office:
1. Preparing for promotional events.
2. Working within deadlines given by your manager.
3. Giving feedback to head office and liaising closely with manager and buyers.
4. Creating reports in PowerPoint - showing any merchandising done by you and the team.
5. Attended monthly meetings with manager.
6. Present reports on latest local and global trends in Jewellery VM.

Senior PR Specialist - Damas International Limited - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Assist in planning, creating and delivering publicity for Damas to its target audience by proactive and close liaison with the print, online and broadcast media.

Principle Accountabilities
• Building strong working relationships with media (English and Arabic) in UAE and Pan Arab region.
• Translating press releases and other communications materials from English to Arabic in a very high standard.
• Drafting communications in Arabic when required.
• Researching for press releases, Q&As, speeches, MC Notes, feature articles, newsletters, among others.
